In the researcher meeting the final issues and consensus on coding judicial files with coding instructions and privacy regulations were discussed.

The participants were informed on the status quo of the DARE-Project, with the European Database, judicial files, the contracting issues and the privacy impact assessment.

Continuation European Database

DARE project leader Nils Duits informed the project group and participants about the necessity and possibilities of the continuation of the European Database with national and European funding. An action plan is made to finance the Database after the project phase.

VERA-2R training

The VERA-2R training is given to participating Member States with manuals in all languages. The VERA-2R is anchored in the research of the European Database. Research and stronger evidence are needed for violent extremism risk assessment and management. The new version of the VERA-2R will be then even more applicable to evidence based practice.
