Project VERA-PRO2EU
After the DARE project 'Database and Assessment of Risks of violent Extremists', funded by the European Union, further research was desirable.
Especially research on the validity of the VERA-2R and on how the VERA-2R is applied in practice. Also, the EDT database still needs more expansion.
This research will be conducted by the NIFP, in collaboration with the Dutch Probation Service, the Swedish Prison and Probation Board, the Belgian Justitiehuizen and the Belgian FOD and OCAD. The project, called VERA-PRO2EU, again is funded by the European Union.
