The VERA-2R is the world’s leading risk-assessment instrument in the field of countering violent extremism (CVE).
Within the DARE project of the NIFP, professionals of several European countries are trained in the prison and probation context embedding the instrument into their risk assessment routine.
Among these countries are Germany, Sweden, Austria, France and Belgium.
Several professionals in the Dutch, Belgian, French, German and Finnish prison and probation context and the Finnish immigration context have been trained in using the VERA-2R.
Outside Europe the VERA-2R is implemented for various objectives (prison, police, probation) in countries as Canada, Australia and several countries in South-East Asia.
